Job Summary:

Taranova’s Pizza is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our back-of-house team and help deliver the exceptional quality and flavor we’re known for. As Kitchen Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, and support a smooth, clean, and safe working environment. Your leadership and attention to detail will be essential to maintaining our high standards and keeping our kitchen running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during prep and service.
• Ensure all pizzas and menu items meet Taranova’s quality, presentation, and portion standards.
• Monitor food prep, cooking, and storage to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Train and support kitchen team members, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
• Manage kitchen inventory, track usage, and assist in placing orders with suppliers.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house and management to coordinate service and resolve any issues.
• Assist in developing prep schedules, station assignments, and shift task lists.
• Step in to cook, prep, or assist as needed during busy periods.
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or staffing concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous kitchen leadership experience, preferably in a pizza or fast-casual restaurant.
• Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen sanitation, and health code compliance.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure.
• Hands-on experience with dough handling, pizza making, and high-volume service.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
